After health and safety concerns resulted in a change of plan, the project was moved from the uni campus to Hill Holt Wood, around a 20 minute drive from Lincoln city centre. Serving as a woodland open to the public, an educational centre for teenagers and a picturesque venue, a small grassed area within the site has been donated to ArchiLove to house our eco dome. Hill Holt Wood already house several eco buildings all built from their own resources so the ideology of our project seems to fit in well!
Today’s meeting introduced the new location and allowed discussion about how the design could be adapted to its new surroundings. Materials have begun to be ordered and arrangements are being made for their delivery to site. It looks like physical progress is finally being made!
